Frontend
The frontend is the part of an application that runs in the user's browser or device, responsible for what the user sees and directly interacts with.
What matters
Frontend code typically cannot be fully trusted, since anyone can inspect or modify it in their own browser, which is why sensitive logic belongs on the backend instead.
Example
The layout, buttons, and interactive behavior of a shopping site that run directly in your browser are all part of its frontend.
Common misconception
Frontend code is not private or hidden from users; anything sent to the browser can be viewed and inspected by anyone using it.
Recall question
Why should sensitive logic not live only in frontend code?
